All moved in...sort of

It's funny how just a few days without internet can make a person feel so disconnected. Our cable and internet are getting hooked up at the new house today, so we are very excited to geel reconnected with the internet world again.

We are officially no longer "renters"! With the help of some amazing friends (Tynan, Janelle, Gil, Gwen, and Trina) we finished moving and cleaning out the apartment by Saturday afternoon. We left the keys on the kitchen counter, shut the door, and haven't looked back. It's funny...I usually get a little nostalgic leaving a place we've lived in for a while, but this time it wasn't even a thought in my mind. I'm just so excited to have a HOUSE! What's even better is the more I am in the house, the more I love it. It's starting to feel a little more like ours as our things get unpacked and moved around. We are discovering, also, how much time and money it will take to be homeowners. We've made several trips to FleetFarm already to buy odds and ends, but those "little" necessities add up!

Both Jason and I are COMPLETELY exhausted, but happily so. We wish we both had an entire week to take time to move in and get situated, but that's just not the way things work! Tonight we are going to see Elsie in the hospital for the first time, Wednesday I have my first ultrasound, Thursday I meet with my midwife for the first time, then we head to Michigan for a Wedding we are both in this coming weekend, next week school is done on Wednesday and I begin my summer session Masters classes on Thursday...things aren't going to slow down for quite a while!
