The last part of this school year seemed to drag on for sooo long, so I am happy to say that we are finally done for the 2008-2009 school year. I think it was just so hectic with the move, my pregnancy, school ending, and starting my Master's program. I am happy to have one less thing on my plate. I haven't been feeling any morning sickness, but I have been feeling horribly tired. I can't seem to get enough sleep!
Now that I am done with school, I'm starting to prioritize which house projects I want to start with. We will probably begin demo on the front entryway (aka the barber shop) next week sometime. I also would like to paint the kitchen which is currently shrouded in some wickedly dark 70's paneling. Yesterday, Jason and I got the last of the boxes in the garage unpacked, so we are officially "settled"...sort of. I don't really want to hang anything on the walls yet until we have paint up, but I am having difficulty trying to choose some colors. I spent the last 10 years of my life in white-walled apartments and I want to add some color. I am also apprehensive of having too much color and making my new house look like a circus! My mom is coming to see the house for the first time next week, and I am hoping she has some motherly advice as far as paint colors.

I'm so glad school's out for the summer. You sure have a long list of projects! What is this about a barber shop?

Be careful what you help with as far as painting and demo goes. Remember, you can't be around the fumes or a bunch of nasty dust and insulation of demo. I've had to stay back most of the time while Cody's been redoing the upstairs. Remember, what you take in, the baby takes in.
