Fishing Lament

As trout fishing season comes to a close, some realizations have hit us:

1.) This is our last fishing season with just the two of us. The hobby we have come to cherish and share will change drastically by the start of next season. No longer will we be able to freely, without a care in the world, hop in the car on any given evening and head to the river to share in the solitude and beauty of the Rush while casting our rods into its depths.

2.) Because neither of us is willing to give up on our favorite hobby, we need to find a comfortable baby carrier so we can tote our little one along with us on our river fishing adventures. Suggestions anyone?

3.) It's a good thing fishing season ends in two days, because I just don't think I can squeeze into these waders for even one more week!
Jason has even had to start helping me tie my wading boots because I can't bend over far enough or for long enough to do them myself!
Here are some of the highlights from this fishing season:

  1. Great pictures.
Maybe a babysitter is a better idea??? You look pretty loaded down already in that gear.
