brief moment...

Have a brief moment...Tiff is doing very well. She is dialated to a little more than 6cm. Her contractions have been very painful in the last couple of hours which is a good sign that things are progressing nicely. She needed a shot of pain meds to take the edge off a bit but hasn't decided to go so far as an epidural yet. The pain meds should last about 2 hours and after that she could get it again. Hopefully by then, we'll be a bit closer to 10cm and ready to push. The pain is definitely the biggest concern right now and we are hoping that the meds do their job and buy her some relief so she is ready for the big push. Nice thing is, with Eli, it took about 24 hours to get to where we are now in 8 hours. I think that also means that the big pain has also come faster cause she sure seems like she is feeling it!
