Tonight's Appointment

So although things have been moving slowly, we had another weekly appointment scheduled for this evening at 4:30.  We explained to the midwife what had been happening today so she checked me and I'm 3 cm dialated.  I've been having contractions since about 1:00 again, but they continue to be every 10-15 minutes and not getting closer together or more intense.  We talked about some natural induction techniques (most of which we've tried already).  I'm still not ready to try any more aggressive induction techniques like pitocin yet since my body is showing signs that it's prepping for labor on its own.  We scheduled another appointment for Friday, and if at that time we still don't have a baby, we'll talk about scheduling an actual induction at the hospital for next week.  So, tonight we'll see if these contractions actually go anywhere or if they die down again.
