She's kind of been stalled out at 7 cm for a while now so we broke the water about an hour ago. Not sure if its had any major effect but I would imagine another check will be done in the next hour or so to see if this got things rolling. Our other option is to reinsert the catheder and see if a new positioning may increase the effectiveness. This is important because if things are stalled out and we need a little help, pitocin may be introduced to try to bring her the rest of the way. We don't want her having to experience those intense contractions, particularly after all she's already been through.
Its kind of hitting us how incredibly similar this has been to Eli's birth. Not sure exactly what that means, but it means something.
